D-lish December Challenge

 

 I thought I better get my skates on and get the December Inspiration board Challenge

done at D-lish Scraps

 

Love the colours for this months challenge.

I have used the sketch as my inspiration along with the colours.

 

 

I covered some cardstock triangles with washi tape to

match the colour scheme.

 I used this months 'Just Add Paper' kit  

 I also used some Prima flowers which matched just nicely

This week I have taken a different approach and used some of my patterned paper stash.

 I have steered away from using patterned paper since I started doing Mixed Media layouts.

 I have used a variety of Scrappers Garden flowers including Obsession flowers, Curly Sue's, Bridget flower and Euphorbia flower.

 I have teamed these with some Prima, Green Tara flowers and used Prima Zephyr paper.

My October entry for D-lish Scraps

I took inspiration from the colours and used the Just-Add-Paper kit

 

On our recent trip to QLD the kids made friends with a girl in the campsite next to ours,

it was so nice to watch them converse and get to know each other

 I have used a photo of our recent trip to Australia Zoo,

 

 

I achieved the background by colouring the feathers with watercolour pencils

Let it snow

I have shared this layout at the Scrappers Garden Facebook page.

This past weekend saw us travel to Albury for Regional Athletics, we decided to make a weekend of it. On Sunday we travelled 80km to Falls Creek to see the snow(an impromptu trip). As you can see by the photo the kids were not to impressed with the snow ...Next time we will be a little more prepared :)
