Crafty happenings

Not much happening on the scrappy front but a bit of sewing on the cards at the moment. A quilt for Grandma,  a cushion for me and a pincushion for my mum. Also some origami table centrepieces for our local netball association.

Wow it's been a while.....this week I scrapped a layout for the first time in 12 months.

 Hoping there is more where that came from.

I used a D-lish Scraps 'Just add paper kit'

D-lish June Challenge

Hi all, Today I am sharing my entry for the D-lish Scraps  June Inspiration board.

It's the first time in months I have been able to get around to using my 'Just add paper' kit

 

I have followed the sketch loosely. Just love the colours in this months board,

yellow being one of my favourite colours to scrap with.

I {heart} flowers

 

Hi all. This first layout is for Scrappers Garden.

 I kept this one simple to highlight the photo, which is a rare occurrence

 in this house to get everyone smiling at the same time.

Hubby was trying to stop Mr2 getting at the cake and the candles.

 

 

This next layout was one I did to submit to a scrapbooking magazine

 but didn't get accepted, so I can now share it!

Scrappers Garden catch up

In this next layout I have used Dylusions to colour the

 flowers to suit my layout.

Scrappers Garden flowers are made from quality paper and

take on mists and inks very well.

Hi There, Here is this weeks layout for Scrappers Garden.

 

I used my Prima Checkers stencil to create the background.

I randomly traced the squares then coloured a few in with watercolour pencils.

D-lish December Challenge

 

 I thought I better get my skates on and get the December Inspiration board Challenge

done at D-lish Scraps

 

Love the colours for this months challenge.

I have used the sketch as my inspiration along with the colours.

 

 

I covered some cardstock triangles with washi tape to

match the colour scheme.

 I used this months 'Just Add Paper' kit  

 I also used some Prima flowers which matched just nicely
