Rainbow effect

My lastest scrapbooking efforts,

 not getting any where near as much scrapbooking or crafting done as I would like.

Now I have another hurdle of having to pack up my craft area again to do renovations after a water leak damaged most of our lounge room flooring and walls. Not looking forward to it at all.

 

A bright and colourful layout to keep us smiling through the winter and our up coming renovations, It has been mighty cold here with us. Whats the weather like where you are?

Blast Off!!

 It has taken me a while to figure out what to do with this range of papers, boy/male pages are definately not my forte. I had a page started on my desk for weeks that was just not working so I pulled it apart and came up with this.

Kaisercraft Blast off paper range, Washi tape from D-lish scraps and lots of foam tape to lift it off the page

Retreat

 

On Saturday I attended a scrap retreat at my local scrapbooking store.

This is what came out of the day

 

First up ....We had a challenge given to us which was  'Lavender and Lace'

We were shown some doodling techniques by Kylie this is my page!!

 

This next page was down using the technique of using Cuttlebug dies to imprint on texture paste, tearing and folding by Kim

 

We were shown how to use texture paste, mists and stamping by Rachael

and lastly a page by Wendy using dyed doilies and several ways to hand make flowers.A special mention to Wendy's daughter who along with a friend hand dyed all the doilies supplied in our kits.Well done girls!!

 

This following page I did using techniques learnt on the day.

 

I have found some inspiration to scrapbook again. I had a great time and meet some awesome ladies was nice to put names to faces.Thanks heaps Joy,Kylie, Rachael,Kim, Wendy, Ann and everyone else that helped put the day together ...we should do it again sometime :)

Still about....I have found it very hard to get back into scrapbooking, not alot of time and my mojo went out the window after our move 12 months ago....but, slowly trying to get back into it...here is a page I have been working on for the last few days. Hoping to share a few more crafty creations in the near future including some exciting crafty news!!
