On Saturday I attended a class at my local scrap store, these first 2 pages were designed and taught  by Rachael Funnell

This weeks crafty persuits saw me making some skirts for Miss2 I used the Oliver S pattern from here. Have one more cut and ready to stitch.Hopefully I will find some time this weekend to finish it so I can pack away the overlocker and do some scrapbooking.

 

 

 

 

 

This was the view from the dinning room window this morning the kids put out some old bread for the magpies yesterday, we had 3 birds feeding this morning. We feed the magpies in the hope that won't feel threatened by us and won't attack the kids when they are out riding their bikes or playing. so far this has worked :)

I scrapped...

Hopefully this is the start of big things to come.....but I won't make any promises just yet.

I finally scrapped a layout first time I've scrapped in about

6 months ....so much for promising myself at the beginning of the year to scrap at least one layout a week....so far this year has been a huge year for us behind the scenes

2 moves and a baby, I would definitely call that HUGE for our family!!

BUT...

I did it, my first layout of our little man.....

 

 

Used texture paste on the background, flowers and washi tape from D-lish Scraps, twine from Purple Pumpkin,heart from Kaisercraft

Ten Little Things

 

 

 

While pregnant with Nicholas I decided to make a little quilt. Knowing that bub was in fact a 'he' I went searching for little boy fabrics I came across Moda's 'Ten Little Things' the perfect baby boys fabric I used 1 X 5inch charm pack and some yardage ....once I knew how I wanted the fabrics it really didn't take long at all

 

 I used Gutermann verigated thread to quilt it using my free motion foot

Waiting, Waiting, Waiting

Still waiting for bub number 4 to arrive.... I am now officially 5 days over due and getting rather impatient!!!! I should be used to it all my babies have been late.

 

 

In the mean time this is what I have been doing.....

 

made a runner for the side board then decided I needed one for the table and buffet & hutch so I am now working on those....Riley Blake fabric



and Miss 2 sneaking some batter whilst trying to make cup cakes....she is growing up too quick!!
(back ground shows the reality of our household)

 

really trying to get back into scrapbooking ....it will happen!!

Any tips on using Gesso on layouts.....really want to give it a go.

Ok will leave it there...Hubby spilt beer on the keyboard and it is now giving me the you know whats!!

Hopefully will have some news shortly!
