I'm here...

Still about....I have found it very hard to get back into scrapbooking, not alot of time and my mojo went out the window after our move 12 months ago....but, slowly trying to get back into it...here is a page I have been working on for the last few days. Hoping to share a few more crafty creations in the near future including some exciting crafty news!!

December.....Where have you gone??

We have had alot on this month like most other families...... a boy who is nearly 4months old now, a tree to put up, teachers gifts to make, a band performance at our town festival, a girl who was 3 and a big fan of Peppa Pig!!  A christmas angel at our school christmas assembly not to mention 2 presentaion nights, a flute concert and numerous christmas parties. Tonight we sit while watching carols on TV and enjoy the wonderful smells coming from the oven, a fruit cake for Granma, we eagerly await the arrival of Santa....3 more sleeps :)

This first one was going to be my entry for the White with 1 CT call but didn't meet the deadline, but I enjoyed the challenge.

I have been trying to be a little 'Messy' with my layouts, loving texture paste at the moment.Used the new Kaisercraft template in the background I have a few more I want to use.

Another layout using Kaisercraft 'Periwinkle' paper.I wanted to use the left overs from the class I attended on the weekend, I also added a acetate sheet from the range ...got the idea from the Kaiser 'Workshop' magazine using the same concept/sketch
 as Geraldine Pasinati's layout

This weeks crafty persuits saw me making some skirts for Miss2 I used the Oliver S pattern from here. Have one more cut and ready to stitch.Hopefully I will find some time this weekend to finish it so I can pack away the overlocker and do some scrapbooking.

 

 

 

 

 

This was the view from the dinning room window this morning the kids put out some old bread for the magpies yesterday, we had 3 birds feeding this morning. We feed the magpies in the hope that won't feel threatened by us and won't attack the kids when they are out riding their bikes or playing. so far this has worked :)

I scrapped...

Hopefully this is the start of big things to come.....but I won't make any promises just yet.

I finally scrapped a layout first time I've scrapped in about

6 months ....so much for promising myself at the beginning of the year to scrap at least one layout a week....so far this year has been a huge year for us behind the scenes

2 moves and a baby, I would definitely call that HUGE for our family!!

BUT...

I did it, my first layout of our little man.....

 

 

Used texture paste on the background, flowers and washi tape from D-lish Scraps, twine from Purple Pumpkin,heart from Kaisercraft
