Waiting, Waiting, Waiting

Still waiting for bub number 4 to arrive.... I am now officially 5 days over due and getting rather impatient!!!! I should be used to it all my babies have been late.

 

 

In the mean time this is what I have been doing.....

 

made a runner for the side board then decided I needed one for the table and buffet & hutch so I am now working on those....Riley Blake fabric



and Miss 2 sneaking some batter whilst trying to make cup cakes....she is growing up too quick!!
(back ground shows the reality of our household)

 

really trying to get back into scrapbooking ....it will happen!!

Any tips on using Gesso on layouts.....really want to give it a go.

Ok will leave it there...Hubby spilt beer on the keyboard and it is now giving me the you know whats!!

Hopefully will have some news shortly!

Well well well it's been a while!!

Not much happening on the crafty front, most of my supplies are still in boxes from our move :( I will get there one day!!

Would love to get back into scrapbooking soon , before bub number 4 arrives ~ Yes thats right bub

No 4 is due in Aug 2012.

 Would also love to get DD2's quilt sandwiched and quilted before then.

Have been crocheting some cute baby beanies over the last week, Very satisfying starting and finishing a project in less than 2 hours. I have some lovely pink and green verigated wool to make DD3 a beanie. Hope it won't be to long between future blog posts.

Relocating

Well we have had a wirlwind few weeks here, just over a week ago hubby applied for a new job, last week he had an interview and found out he had the job(this happened within a few days of applying). The condition of this new job is that we will have to move and live on site ...so with that we are packing up our family home and shifting 40km from town. Oh my!! the work involved with moving and I've just started , the last time we moved was over 10 years ago, we were just married and didn't own much and had no children. Oh and I forgot to mention I didn't have a scrapbooking obsession. I have just spent the last 2 days going through my STUFF and have not yet scratched the surface...HHHMMMM!! so it's cleanup and throw out time !!

So things will be a bit quiet around here while we relocate, see you all on the other end of this move!! :)

I sat down yesterday to get a page done misted my background, leaving my mist and paint on my desk Little Miss 2 decided she might like to do some finger painting ....so no surprise to what happened.....purple finger swirls all over my misted background.

I'm just loving that i'm scrapbooking again!!

Did the following page using the Colour Room sketch/ Palette 95, just used the sketch.
This one is being entered in the ScrapFit blank canvas Challenge

Materials used:

Kaiser flowers, Butterflies from Kaiser Tigerlily Collection(new range)

Maya mists- Pink Grapefruit, Very Special Creations Flower, Purple Pumpkin button,

D-lish Scraps resin hearts, paper doily, ribbon.

Scrapped 1-2012

Ok I have scrapped, hope I can keep it up,

I couldn't decide on a title so at the moment it will be without one ....any ideas??

Products I used:

Scrapmatts frame and butterflies, Greentara flowers, leaves, gauze, vintage doily border, versa color ink, Whispers clear glitter embossing powder, I made my own misting spray.

Rested

We have just returned from a lovely 2 weeks away 1 week spent at a local dam the other spent at the South Coast. I have some lovely photo's I would love to scrapbook, I went through my blog posts this morning and realised I haven't scrapbooked since August and before that it was at the begining of 2011. In 2012 I have promised my self I will will scrapbook alot more,I will join some challenges and maybe apply for some guest designer positions.....I can and will this :)
